NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE

Historic Cabbagetown was the residential neighborhood hit hardest by the devastating EF-2 tornado that touched down in Atlanta on February 14, 2008. 

Please help those in need in our community recover from this disaster by making a donation today! Reference the Cabbagetown Relief website when donating.

Everyone who was affected by the tornado is encouraged to contact FEMA, regardless of the amount of damage sustained.

SBA

Recently, the President declared certain counties in Georgia as a disaster area.  Click here for tips to assist individuals and businesses that sustained damage to get the help they need.

Anyone with questions regarding SBA’s Disaster Assistance program or to obtain the locations of an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center, can call the Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 8 pm EDT, or visit the website.

Insurance Commissioner's Office

If you did not receive a response from your insurance company within five days of your first call, or if your provider is evasive and hard to deal with, call the Atlanta Insurance Commissioner immediately at 404-656-2070.
